Gledswood Hills Public School students, staff and school community respectfully acknowledge and celebrate significant First Nations events such as Sorry Day, Reconciliation and NAIDOC week.
Gledswood Hills Public School works in partnership with Indigenous families to ensure all First Nations students succeed and develop a strong sense of identity and belonging. We celebrate the outstanding achievements of students.
We greatly value the involvement of our local community and Elders and we continue to build these connections to support all programs.
PLPs are an effective tool for increasing Aboriginal student engagement. They have the potential to support improved learning outcomes and educational aspirations when they are developed in genuine partnership with Aboriginal students, their parents or carers and teachers. Personalised Learning Pathways are an active process. They are developed in a consultation process between the student, parents/carers and teachers, to identify, organise and apply personal approaches to learning and engagement. PLP Document.

We at Gledswood Hills Public School Acknowledge and respect the Dharawal people and their elders past, present and emerging. We would also like to thank them for their care of the Dharawal Nation. Together we can continue to look after this great land, and walk side by side with our Aboriginal brothers and sisters everyday.
